Police Seeking Medford Rite Aid Thief

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man pictured above who they say stole merchandise from the Rite Aid store in Medford.

Police said the man entered Rite Aid, located at 2799 Route 112, on March 19 and took assorted razors and over-the-counter medications off the shelves and placed them into a shopping bag. The man left the store without paying for the merchandise, which was valued at more than $1,500, police said. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, with a bald or shaved head. He was wearing a dark-colored snorkel-type jacket with a fur-trimmed hood.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
