Police Seeking Women Who Stole Cash From Target

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the two women pictured above who they say stole cash from a Medford store in March.

According to police, the women made a purchase at Target, located at 2975 Horseblock Road, on March 23 at approximately 4:40 p.m. During the transaction, the women, who were speaking broken English with possibly Russian accents, attempted to confuse the cashier by asking for change, police said.

When the cashier was making change, one woman twice took money from the drawer to show the cashier what she wanted and secreted bills in her hand and then placed them in her purse, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

I am almost certain that Target's surveillance cameras produce a much clearer picture.

Oh are your certain? Do you work in the security camera industry? Because there is a reason that every security camera image is low quality like this. Think about how many cameras that a place like Target has recording at one time. They all have to record and store footage 24/7, do you have any idea how much memory is required to store that kind of footage?
