Police: Suspect Steals Cash After Massage At Spa
Suspected male took money from purse at Sunshine Spa in Patchogue, police said.
Suffolk County Police are seeking a male suspected of stealing cash from a spa employee's purse after receiving a massage in Sunshine Spa in Patchogue on Jan. 31.

According to a release sent by police early Monday morning, the suspect received a massage at the spa, located at 646 Route 112, and took an employee's purse around 11:30 a.m.

Police say the man brought the purse into a bathroom, stole cash and hid it under the sink.
Police describe the man as black with a scar on the back of his head, and said he fled the store in an unknown direction. Photos sent by police are in the media gallery.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220 TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
