Police: Two Brothers Stabbed On Ohls Street

One arrest made related to attack, police told Patch Monday.

Two brothers in North Patchogue were stabbed and seriously injured during a fight Saturday on Ohls Street, according to Suffolk County Police in a report on Newsday.

According to the report, police said Diego Valdez, 29, and Christian Valdez, 27, were stabbed by a man who arrived at a house party on the street by a sharp object that was possibly a bottle.

Police received a call reporting the stabbing at 10:18 p.m., according to the report. Police are reported as finding Christian Valdez suffering from severe cuts on his face, back and abdomen, and Diego Valdez sustaining severe cuts on the left side of his head and his shoulder.

The brothers were taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where they were listed in stable condition police said in the report.

Police told Patch Monday Jorge Taday, 37, of Patchogue, was charged with two counts of assault for hitting the men with a beer bottle. The incident is under investigation.
