Reminder: Bracelet/Bake Sale for Master Sgt. Eric Carver Saturday

Fundraiser will be held from 1-5 p.m. at the Swan Lake community center.

The Swan Lake Park community is holding a bracelet and bake sale event on Saturday to raise money to rebuild the home of Eric Carver, an Air National guardsman currently deployed in Africa.

Carver's East Patchogue home was burglarized and set on fire on Dec. 27. Carver is the president of the Swan Lake Civic Association and is also a New York State Police trooper. 

Saturday's event is taking place at the Swan Lake community center located at 86 Lake Drive.

A GiveForward fundraising page has already raised more than $10,000 to go toward rebuilding Carver's home.
