Report: Horses Roam Cedar Avenue in Medford

According to Newsday, three horses were seen around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Three horses were spotted on the lawn of a home on Cedar Avenue in Medford early Tuesday morning reported Newsday and Suffolk County Police.

Upon being spotted by a nearby person who called 911 around 1:38 a.m.,  police arrived at the home.

The horses ran from police and back to their stable at a different Cedar Avenue home, police said.

"The owner came out, identified them as his horses," a police spokeswoman told Newsday. "They were on a neighbor's lawn. How they got there, we're not sure at this time."

Police said that it is not known how the animals left their stable.

Police told Patch that the exact location on Cedar Avenue where the horses were seen was not available.
