Report: Man Killed By LIRR Train In E. Patchogue
Accident occurred near the Munsell Road crossing in East Patchogue, reports Newsday.
A Long Island Rail Road train hit and killed an unidentified man Sunday in East Patchogue said MTA police in a report on Newsday.
According to the report, the accident occurred west of Munsell Road around 4 p.m. as an eastbound train going from Jamaica to Speonk approached the Bellport station.
The incident is reported as under investigation with no other details available. Brief delays on the Montauk line from the accident are also since reported to have cleared up.
