Transcript: Melinda Brady's Court Statement

Wife of pharmacy killer David Laffer apologized for her role in the crime.

Melinda Brady, to 25 years in prison Thursday for her part in the Father's Day quadruple homicide at a Medford drug store, read the following statement in court directed at the victims' families:

"You are always and every day in my thoughts and in my prayers. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved ones and the pain and suffering you are going through. That awful day will haunt me for the rest of my life and as I know it does yours. I can only pray that God will give you all peace and forgive me for my part that day so many families' lives were ruined, so many hopes and dreams were shattered. I can only tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your loved ones and pray for your enduring strength."
