Two Men Arrested After Foot Chase

Men found breaking into shed were tracked down by K-9 units, one suspect hospitalized.

Two men were arrested, one hospitalized, on Tuesday morning, after leading police and K-9 units on a foot pursuit at around 4:02 a.m.

Police responding to a call on Hewlett Avenue in East Patchogue found two men breaking into a shed, attempting to steal lawn equipment and tools. At least one of the men was arrested after a K-9 was able to track him.

The second man was also arrested and was sent to the hospital according to Suffolk County Police Fifth Precinct. Identities and additional details are not yet available as both suspects are being processed.
