Closures and Special Schedules for Presidents' Day

Local institutions will be closed and public transportation will operate on a special schedule in observance of Presidents' Day

In observance of Presidents' Day, several local institutions are closed and public transportation will be operating on a special schedule for the federal holiday.

Those closed include Patchogue Village Hall, Patchogue-Medford Public Library, the Patchogue-Medford School District and the US Post Office locations in Patchogue and Medford.

The Long Island Rail Road will operate on a special holiday schedule with extra trains added for Monday issued the Metropolitan Transportation Authority on its website. All trains will be at off-peak rates.

The Suffolk County Transit (SCT) bus system will operate on a modified schedule in which several Patchogue and Medford area buses will operate on a Saturday schedule. This applies to the S61, S63, 7A and 7B buses. The S66 and S68 will operate on their normal weekday schedule. Schedules can be checked on the SCT website.

LOL. You mean the one that pumps all the turds from Brookhaven into Patchogue River. The one that brings in low priced turds in a quid pro quo between Crookhaven and DogPatch? The one that saved the Patchogue Sewer District from going bankrupt? The one that will soon be accepting tons of poop from a developers developement so far aout of district that you can't believe it is even possible? Yes, that is the one I believe you are referring to. Let me check out the release(read untreated turds and pee pee) that was released during Sandy. Hey, Mr Mayor you never did make good on your promise to drink the first glass of treated waste from the poo plant did you? Come on, the fish and clams can take it....so can you.
