Letter to the Editor: A Thank-You From Brookhaven's Supervisor Elect

Ed Romaine pledges to "validate that trust" that voters have placed in him.

Dear Editor,

I would like to thank the voters of Brookhaven for electing me their 70th town supervisor. I am humbled by the trust you have placed in me and I will work every day to validate that trust.

In the days ahead, Brookhaven faces tough financial challenges and the difficult task of recovering from Hurricane Sandy. I am confident that working with residents, community organizations, the town board, and other town officials, we can address these challenges and move Brookhaven forward.

I look forward to serving as your town supervisor.

Sincerely,
Edward P. Romaine
Supervisor-Elect
Town of Brookhaven

Just hoping he doesn't do to the town what he did to the county (Suffolk $530 million in the red)
