Pataki: Long Island is 'Microcosm' of State, Country [VIDEO]

Former governor on scene at Hofstra.

Former New York Gov. George Pataki on Tuesday called Long Island a microcosm of the state for its varied demographics, especially when it comes to incomes and the high cost of living.

Patch caught up with him in the media room at Hofstra University, not long before the second presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney began.

See our video above.

Hopefully not mine! After Romney's second lie-a-thon on national TV let's hope a few of the brain dead undecided have finally figured out he can't be trusted. You may not like President Obama, but he didn't need a mountain of fact checking last night.

Former Gov. Pataki just learned a new word, microcosm! He can now have a glass of milk and some cookies. If New York State can only get rid of the State Senate and the equally useless, incompetent, obsolete State Assembly New York would be on the road to improvement.

And we had 2 losers after him. Spitzer and Paterson. One who wanted to give illegals drivers licenses and the other that gave the MTA access to our property taxes. One loved high class hookers and the other was only blind cause his brain wasn't turned on.

I'm not accusing anyone of "faking it". http://www.coachoutletonlinegg.com My point is that our Pompeii - like most classical http://www.coachoutletonlineaol.net sites, in fact - is the product of collaboration between http://www.coachfactoryoutletwy.com modern rebuilders and conservators, and the original Roman builders http://www.coachoutletstorefc.com themselves, with the lion's share of the work on our side. And it's no less impressive or moving http://www.coachoutletaol.org for that - as the body casts help to show. One of http://www.coachfactoryonlineest.net the video clips played in the exhibition at the Getty Museum comes http://www.coachfactoryoutletpst.com from Roberto Rossellini's film, Voyage in Italy, in which the lead couple, http://www.coachfactoryoutlettx.com played by Ingrid Bergman and George Sanders, tour the country as their marriage http://www.coachfactoryonlinefc.org disintegrates. On their visit to Pompeii they watch the plaster being http://www.coachoutletwy.com poured into a cavity left by two of the victims. http://www.coachoutletonlineybw.com In the movie's most haunting scene, these victims emerge as a couple.
