Reminder: Debate at Medford FD Wednesday

Local candidates facing off at 7 p.m.

Trying to figure out who to vote for in the local elections?

The Medford Taxpayers & Civic Association are hosting their annual debate at Medford Fire Department Wednesday at 7 p.m.

As previously reported, the announced candidates attending are state third assembly district candidates; incumbent Assemblyman Dean Murray (R) and challenger Edward Hennessey (D), state third senatorial candidates; incumbent Sen. Lee Zeldin (R) and challenger Frank Genco (D), first congressional district candidates; incumbent Congressman Tim Bishop (D) and challenger Randy Altschuler (R) and Brookhaven Town Supervisor candidates; Edward Romaine (R) and Brian Beedenbender (D).

The guest moderator is journalist Barbara La Monica. Audience members will receive cards for their questions.
