Roe Walkway to be Dedicated Wednesday

The walkway behind from the Terry Street parking lot to Main Street will host a dedication ceremony at 11:30 a.m.

A dedication ceremony for the Roe Walkway project will take place on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Patchogue.

The walkway runs alongside the and is located between the Terry Street parking lot and Main Street.

The path features a new brick path and lighting along the corridor.

The walkway was funded by a number of grants including $100,000 from the Suffolk County Downtown Revitalization Program, $3,000 from Patchogue Village's Business Improvement District for its design and the remaining $130,000 coming from Patchogue Village's Community Development Agency (CDA)'s allocation of the Community Development Block Grant Funds from the Suffolk County Community Development.

The project was managed by Marion Russo, executive director of the CDA.
