Storm Water Committee Meeting Thursday

Meeting taking place in Patchogue Village Hall at 7:30 p.m.

The Patchogue Village storm water committee is holding its first public meeting in Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Village trustee Joseph Keyes said at Monday's Village Board of Trustees meeting that the committee is going to discuss ways to purify the storm water system.

Keyes told Patch that the committee will also be working to educate the community on ways to keep the bay clear, which includes keeping waste off of the front lawns and streets due to the proximity of the Village to the water.
