Village Agenda: Cedar Grove St. Traffic, New Stop Sign, Parking Requirement Increase

The agenda for Tuesday's Patchogue Village Board of Trustees meeting features bullets regarding amendments to Village Code, request for approval for a new stop sign and to set a public hearing for possibly making a section of Cedar Grove Street one-way.

The meeting will take place at at 7:30 p.m.

Under the public hearings section of the agenda is a request to amend Chapter 435 of Village code, which includes increasing the amount of required parking, changing requirements for retirement and assisted living housing, prohibiting certain residential housing in certain types of business districts and authorizing the Village's Planning Board to hire third party professionals to review site plans at the applicant's expense.

Under Mayor Paul Pontieri's section of the agenda is a bullet regarding the resignation of Debra Davidson from the Planning Board effective July 1, and for Sal Felice to replace her on the same date.

Trustee Joseph Keyes section includes requesting approval to set a future public hearing to consider making Cedar Grove Street one way between North Ocean Avenue and Maple Avenue, and to request approval to install a stop sign on Noxon Street at the intersection of River Avenue and Noxon Street.
