Village Agenda: Railroad Avenue Public Hearing, New Village Filming

The Patchogue Village Board of Trustees will meet Monday night at Patchogue Village Hall, 14 Baker St., at 7:30 p.m.

Monday's agenda includes a public hearing to possibly designate Railroad Avenue as one-way from West Main Street to Sotuh Street in a southern direction and repeal one-way on Taylor Lane. There is also a request to continue the filming and documentation of the Village's revitalization efforts including the New Village construction.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believe…Read More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
