Village Agenda: Rose Avenue Parking, Tax Cap

Patchogue Village Board meeting scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m.

A public hearing regarding amending a section of Patchogue Village Code regarding parking on Rose Avenue is in the agenda for Monday's Patchogue Village Board meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. at Patchogue Village Hall.

Also listed on the agenda is a request to set a future public hearing to consider overriding the mandated New York State two-percent tax cap, to request approval toward an agreement regarding expenses incurred at Great South Bay Music Festival among other bullets.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believe…Read More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
