Village Agenda: Street Pavings, Veterans Day Ceremony

Agenda for Monday's Patchogue Village Board of Trustees meeting.

Approvals for the pavings of several streets, Veteran’s Day ceremony and a first New Year’s Eve event in Patchogue Village are among what’s on the agenda for Monday’s Patchogue Village Board of Trustees meeting at Patchogue Village Hall, 14 Baker St. in Patchogue, at 6 p.m.

Streets listed for possible paving include Marvin Street and East 4th Street. Streets listed for the possible installation of curbs and sidewalks include the east side of Rider Avenue from the race track to Smith Street and the east side of Rider from Carmen Street to the race track.

There is also a request for new pavement markings in the Terry Street, Church Street and Oak Street parking lots that are likely linked to the upcoming parking meters as Park Line Asphalt Maintenance, Inc. is listed to prep, paint and number the pavement markings.

Among the events listed for approval are a new “Midnight on Main St.” event to take place on New Year’s Eve, the annual Veterans Day ceremonies on Nov. 11 at the North Ocean Avenue and Main Street intersection at 10:30 a.m. and the 51st annual Christmas Parade on Main Street on Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
