Village: Rose Avenue To Require Permit Parking

Residents can request permits from Patchogue Village Hall to park on that street.

Permits will be required to park on either side of Rose Avenue in Patchogue Village from 4 p.m. to midnight as per a unanimous vote at Monday's Patchogue Village Board of Trustees meeting at Patchogue Village Hall.

Village Attorney Brian Egan told Patch that some residents on this road requested the change due to issues in parking overflow with adjacent commercial businesses, particularly the Smith Point Archery range.

Signs reflecting this change should be going up on the street soon.
