Next week, I’m joining with County Executive Steve Bellone, the County’s Department of Economic & planning as well as the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce to present a “Lenders Forum” at the Patchogue Theater.
The goal of the forum is to foster connections between local small business owners with lending institutions. In particular, small business owners who are interested in gaining capital to grow their businesses should consider coming down to the Theater. This is the first year this forum is coming to Patchogue, and I am excited to see what links emerge from the night’s activities.
We have more than a dozen participants signed up for the event, including Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Capital One, Astoria Federal Savings, Suffolk County National Bank, the Long Island Development Corporation and others.
Small businesses are the backbone of American innovation, and helping local establishments succeed is something, as a County Legislator I try to do whenever possible. I’m looking forward to the “Lenders Forum” and hope to see you there.
