The South Bay Art Association (SBAA) announces its 55th Annual Member's Exhibit at the Phoenix Gallery in Bellport. The show will take place over the Memorial Day weekend and the following weekend. Members of SBAA will display their work and invite you to visit the gallery and see what the artists have been up to. Artists of all ages and experience belong to the SBAA, which meets once a month at the Bellport Community Center on Bell Street in the Village of Bellport. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and the group welcomes new members. For more information and meeting dates, visit http://www.southbayart.org.

Besides the Phoenix Gallery exhibit, Gallery 125 (125 South Country Rd.) will showcase artist David Adams. Using house paint abandoned at construction sites, Adams spins paint from punctured cans hung from specially constructed tripods above found tarps. Like the path of a plumb-bob set in motion or a Foucault pendulum, the paint automatically forms progressively layered ellipses on the horizontal tarps. The artist will have a demonstration on Memorial Day, from 12:30 to 5:30pm.
Also, visit Bellport Arts & Framing Studio at 147 South Country Road, Bellport, for another art exhibit. Enjoy your Weekend!!
