First Annual “Authors Unlimited”

Suffolk County public libraries, in conjunction with St. Joseph’s College, will host an all-day event providing teenagers the opportunity to connect with their favorite young adult authors and celebrate their love of reading.

Several of the award-winning and bestselling young adult authors scheduled to present dynamic workshops throughout the day include: American fiction writer Coe Booth; internationally bestselling young adult author Daniel Ehrenheft; New York Times bestselling author of The Luxe series Anna Godbersen; and award-winning author Rita Williams-Garcia, who is known for their realistic portrayal of teens of color, among numerous others.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration and book sales begin at 9:30 a.m. Lunch is available for purchase throughout the day in the College’s Cafeteria. Tickets are available for young adults at all Suffolk County libraries in the Teen Services Division beginning April 1. Accompanying adults do not need tickets to attend.
