Local Cantor, Chiropractor Harris Cohen to Speak and Sign New Book

Dr. Harris R. Cohen -- a Chiropractor and Cantor at the Mastic Beach Hebrew Center -- will introduce his new book, “Lessons Learned: How to Negotiate the Life You Want to Live” at the Mastic Beach Hebrew Center on Thursday, May 17, from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. The temple is located at 218 Neighborhood Road at the corner of Hemlock Drive about one mile east of William Floyd Parkway.

The author, a resident of Ridge, will share what he has learned over the years about how to achieve one's goals: physical, mental, and spiritual. Dr. Cohen explains that, “Once you understand the process of how and why you make everyday decisions, you are able to better understand and negotiate with yourself. This allows you to pursue an enlightened, more natural path toward all that you desire.”

Dr. Cohen will sign copies of his book, which will be available for purchase that evening. A portion of the proceeds from the books sold that evening will be donated to the Mastic Beach Hebrew Center. The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
