Holy Angels to Celebrate Season With 'Cookie Walk,' 'Honor an Angel'

School announces two programs to celebrate the Christmas season.

Holy Angels Regional School in Patchogue will celebrate the Christmas season with a “Cookie Walk” bake sale and “Honor an Angel In Your Life,” two programs that are perfect for the entire family to participate in.

On Sunday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m.- noon, Holy Angels will hold its first annual "Cookie Walk" bake sale in the St. Francis de Sales parish hall located on the corner of South Ocean Avenue and Division Street in Patchogue.

This holiday bake sale is a benefit to support the school, which has been an important spiritual and educational institution in the Patchogue community since 1923. The Cookie Walk is a sweet stroll through the Parish Hall where you can buy a box of cookies for $10. You walk around the Hall and fill the box with all the cookies that fit into that box.  There will be tables and tables of delectable and delicious cookies for you to select from. This is a sweet treat for you and for Holy Angels.

The students of Holy Angels Regional School also invite everyone to “Honor an Angel In Your Life,” a family member, teacher, friend, babysitter or anyone who you would like to say… “you are special,” or just to let them know you are thinking of them this Christmas season. Honorees will receive a card letting them know that they are your special angel.

All honorees will be lifted up in prayer in a special Mass at St. Francis de Sales Church in Patchogue on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. Deceased loved one’s can also be honored and remembered at the Mass. Donations are $5 for each Angel Honoree and there is no limit to the Angels that one can honor.
