Photos: Mayor, PTA Council Honor Pat-Med BOE for School Board Recognition Week
Proclamations were given to the members of the Board of Education.
Patchogue Village Mayor Paul Pontieri attended Monday's Patchogue-Medford Board of Education meeting to present proclamations designating Oct. 29-Nov. 2 as School Board Recognition Week in the Village.
"The relationship between the school district and the community is entwined," Pontieri said at Monday's meeting.
Pontieri cited an increase in the growth of young families coming to Patchogue Village during his presentation.

Lori Musumeci, president of the PTA Council, also gave proclamations to the BOE for outstanding service to the community as part of the recognition week.
