St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School has announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2014.
Ronald Abbazio Jr., of Lindenhurst, is the valedictorian and Michael Tinti, of Medford, is the salutatorian, according to a press release from the West Islip school.
"We are so proud of both Ronald and Michael," St. John's Principal Nan Doherty said. "They are fantastic representatives of the academic, social and spiritual characteristics we seek to instill in all our students. We congratulate them and their families for the magnificent accomplishment."

Abbazio will attend Villanova University next year and Tinti will attend Swarthmore College.
