Oregon Middle School Receiving Defibrillator

School receiving device as donation from the American Heart Assocation.

Contributed by the Patchogue-Medford School District.

Oregon Middle School was selected to receive a donation of a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machine from the American Heart Association.

The school was chosen because Nancy Poulis, Health Teacher, has been a long time advocate and supporter of the AHA's mission by hosting an annual Jump Rope For Heart event.  

The AHA honored her efforts for her hard work and dedication as she has helped many students, over the years, learn the importance of keeping a healthy heart.
