Pat-Med Congress of Teachers Seeking Donations for Soup Kitchen

Items cans be dropped off at Saxton Middle School through Thursday.

The Patchogue-Medford Congress of Teachers is collecting items for donation for a local soup kitchen at which the organization volunteers.

They are collecting new adult socks, scarves, gloves, hats and blankets to be given for a holiday breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 22. The items are needed no later than Thursday, Dec. 20.

They can also use toiletries, canned goods, delis who could donate cold cuts/cheese, bakeries/rolls/bread/baked goods, bagel stores/bagels and any businesses that would like to sponsor a breakfast one weekend because these efforts are ongoing throughout the year.

Items can be dropped off at Patchogue-Medford High School care of Fran Kosiczky, or at Saxton Middle School, care of Jackie Nolan.
