Pat-Med High Lacrosse Players to Compete Nationally

Patrick Cleary and Garrett Roebke to play in lacrosse classic.

Patchogue-Medford High School sophomores Patrick Cleary and Garrett Roebke have been selected to the elite Long Island team for the Brine National Lacrosse Classic.

Patrick made the Long Island North team, which is the top 25 players from Long Island and his close friend Garrett made the Long Island South team, or second team.

There were approximately 400 kids from all of Long Island including all the Catholic schools who tried out for 50 total spots that make up the two teams, according to Patrick's father, Matt Cleary.
