Pat-Med Relay For Life Kickoff Tuesday

Event taking place at Patchogue-Medford High School at 7 p.m.

The Relay For Life will be returning to Patchogue-Medford High School for its seventh year on June 1st, and fundraising efforts will kick off at an event at the school Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The event, which raises money for the American Cancer Society, currently has 13 teams and 42 participants who have raised $1,983 as of this writing according to their official website.

The event traditionally features the teams walking around the track at Raider Stadium, with concerts and several special events throughout the night until early the next morning.
