Pat-Med Schools Open Monday

District to reopen following Hurricane Sandy, no extra-curricular activities Monday, according to superintendent.

All Patchogue-Medford schools will be open on Monday, according to Superintendent Michael Locantore. 

District schools were closed all of last week in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Schools will be closed again Tuesday for Election Day.

On Monday, November 5, 2012, all Patchogue-Medford schools will be open and regular arrival and dismissal times will remain.  Lunch will be offered as usual.

Before school childcare and After school childcare will be offered on a normal schedule.

For High School and Middle School students, it will be a “B” day. 

 

There will be no extra-curricular activities or late buses on Monday, November 5th.

The deadline for students who have temporary bus passes has been extended until the November 19, 2012 Board of Education Business Meeting.  

On Tuesday, November 6, 2012, Election Day, schools will be closed for all students. BOCES programs will be open, however, no district transportation will be provided and students will not be penalized.
