Pat-Med BOE Race: Three Candidates Vie For Two Seats

This year's election is at-large, meaning the top two vote getters out of the three candidates will win seats.

Three candidates will be running for the two open Patchogue-Medford School District Board of Education seats after Monday's application deadline elapsed.

Incumbent candidates Donald S. Atkins and Thomas P. Donofrio will both be vying to keep their current seats, and challenging candidate Kevin G. Maccabee will be vying to take one of them.

This year the election will be at-large, meaning the top two vote getters out of all possible candidates will win the seats.
