PMHS Asst. Principal Creates Learning Center in Dominican Republic

Lucille Martir and her husband recently donated 32 computers and a printer to the Centro Barrio Educativo Blanca.

Patchogue-Medford High School Assistant Principal Lucille Martir and her husband Bobby Hoffman recently orchestrated the donation of 32 computers and a printer to the Centro Barrio Educativo Blanca in San Pedro, Dominican Republic.

The mayor of San Pedro, Antonio Echavarria, was on hand to build a special learning center for the community to be named after the people who made it possible.

The Hoffman–Martir–Ramirez Learning Center will be completed and open by the end of January.
