According to the showcase's website, Ward is among the 250 students from a number of participating school districts whose artwork will be on display.

Ward's artwork sample posted on Long Island Exchange includes an image of a tiger that she created.

The opening reception for the exhibit is Saturday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m., and is taking place at the Mill Pond House Gallery, 660 Route 25A in St. James, NY. More information can be found on the exhibition's website. The exhibit runs through March 15.

Update Feb. 15 11:29 a.m.: The full list of Pat-Med students participating in this exhibition is posted here, as sent by the Smithtown Township Arts Council. Thanks to those that wrote in regarding this.

Update Feb. 15 9:39 a.m.: Parents have brought to Patch's attention that there are other possible PMHS students also being honored at this exhibition. While not to diminish Ward's accomplishment, we have reached out to the gallery to try to get a full list of Pat-Med students who are presenting. Ward was the only Pat-Med student listed in the post on Long Island Exchange, leading to writing this post about her. If your student is also presenting in this gallery, add their name in the comments below and we'll gladly add them. Our apologies as we did not purposefully omit other involved students.

Your barking dog complaint in North Patchogue is handled by Public Safety, Town of Broohaven. CallRead More them at 451-6161 and they will take action. The first time the owners will be warned, the next time they will receive a summons.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believeRead More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
