PMHS Students Learn Forgiveness, Choices

Breaking the Cycle's Hasim Garrett speaks to students.

Students from Patchogue-Medford High School and Patchogue-Medford Alternative High School recently had a conversation on forgiveness and on making good choices with Hashim Garrett of the Breaking the Cycle organization.

According to the organization's website, Breaking the Cycle is a program that stresses communication and forgiveness as a way of resolving conflicts and easing tensions. The organization, which typically does school assemblies with this theme, was formed after the 1999 Columbine High School shooting.
