St. Joseph's College Receives Donations for Hurricane Sandy Victims

Local vendors and businesses offer funds and food.

In the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, St. Joseph’s College (SJC) has focused its efforts on immediately helping students and the community who were greatly affected by the tremendous amount of damage left in the wake of the hurricane.

The College has created a Hurricane Sandy Student Relief Fund to ensure that students will continue their studies at SJC.

“The Hurricane Sandy Student Relief Fund was created to help current students who were most severely affected by the storm,” said SJC President S. Elizabeth Hill. “The goal of the Student Relief Fund is to ensure that no student is forced to forfeit his or her education due to the financial impact of this disaster. All proceeds from the Student Relief Fund go toward helping SJC students stay in school.”
