Student Photo Winners To Exhibit in Patchogue

Elysa Schuhmacher of Bellport High School wins trip to Albany.

The winners of Assemblyman Dean Murray's second Student Photography Contest will display their work at in Patchogue on Saturday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

Students in Grades 8-12 submitted photos of community-based events or locations.

The winner, Elysa Schuhmacher of Bellport High School, will receive a trip to Albany as Murray's guest to a session of the New York Assembly, take a tour of the capitol, receive a photography lession with Assembly photo staff and take pictures during a state legislature session.

's Elizabeth Wright received an honorable mention in the contest.
