Students Win Patchogue Elks Essay Contest

Five students came in first place.

Around 110 students entered the Patchogue Elks Club Americanism Essay contest from Holy Angels Regional School and Saxton Middle School.

Students that entered had to write an essay on "What Does the National Anthem Mean to Me?" and were judged on originality, development of theme and mechanics and neatness.
