Three Open BOE Seats Not Contested

O'Brien, Lavelle to keep current seats, Rignola to run unopposed for Russo's seat.

Three open Board of Education (BOE) seats are not contested in this year’s annual Patchogue-Medford School District BOE election.

Current trustees Anthony O’Brien and William Lavelle will run unopposed, keeping their current seats for a term starting July 1, 2012 ending June 30, 2015.

Candidate Christine Rignola will run unopposed for the seat currently occupied by trustee Anthony Russo, who will not be running for the next term.

The vote for Board of Education trustees and for the proposed 2012-2013 school budget is taking place on May 15.
