T'ai Chi in the Park

T'ai Chi Ch'uan, the Chinese martial art for concentration, relaxation, health, and self-defense, will be the focus of informal gatherings from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday mornings from August 14 through September 4 in Patchogue. Gatherings on August 14, 28, and September 4 will be held at Patchogue's Shorefront Park, Rider Avenue and Smith Street; the gathering on August 21 will be held at Patchogue's Father Tortora Park, Central Avenue and East 3rd Street. Weekly meetings will depend upon fair weather and no rain dates will be scheduled. Free. Not a class, but learning opportunities will be available.
