Former PMHS Baseball Player Pays Mom's Mortgage

Patchogue-Medford High School alum Marcus Stroman, now in the Blue Jays’ system of Major League Baseball, has given a giant gift back to his mother.

In an Instagram video posted by Stroman Monday and shared by Newsday, he surprises his mom, Adlin Auffant, by paying off her mortgage.

With the video, Stroman posted the following message:

“Paid off my mom's house mortgage! Nothing like giving back to the ones you LOVE! Excited I'm in the position to do so. Wouldn't be where I am today without my parents! #familyfirst #LOVE @aauffant.”
