While Battle On The Bay showcases large power boats, smaller hand-built boats also raced at Shorefront Park on Saturday.
Jersey Skiff and Garvey boats held a mock race close to the shoreline. Ten boats were expected to participate, but due to technical difficulties several were rendered in operable before the event began, leaving only three.
The three boats still raced for the spectators.
