Patchogue Lacrosse Player Named to All-American Rookie Team

Stephanie Marran finished the season ranked 27th nationally in goals.

Stephanie Marran, of Patchogue, was named to the USA College Lacrosse All-American Rookie team for her performance playing for Post University.

Marran finished the season ranked 27th in the nation in goals with 52 scored this season. She also finished fourth in draw controls averaging 6.2 per game and 25th in caused turnovers.

Patchogue’s Stephanie Marran Named to USA College Lacrosse All-American Rookie Team

WATERBURY, Conn (May 24, 2011) Post University midfielder Stephanie Marran has been named to the USA College Lacrosse All-American Rookie team.

 Marran finished the season ranked 27th nationally in goals with 52 this season, 4th in draw controls averaging 6.2 per game, and 25th in caused turnovers. She was 44th in points per game and 66th in total points this season.

Any athlete from the Class of 2011 whose name appears on these teams may participate in the Inaugural USA College Lacrosse Senior All-Star Games on June 4 at The Fields Sports Complex, East Brunswick, NJ. Everyone else is eligible to compete in the USA College Lacrosse Underclass All-American Showcases that will also take place on June 4 at the same venue.
