PMHS Girls Bowling Finish Solid Season

The girls came in eighth at the County tournament, and finished with a 6-6 record.

The girls team finished eighth at the Suffolk County Tournament, ending a solid season.

Jessica Calandra had an outstanding season, , six consecutive 700 series and finished the season with a new county record for average with 222.4. She made the All-County team and the All-State Suffolk All-Star team for the second consecutive season. Jessica also was named MSG Varsity Athlete of the Month for her outstanding performance this season.

Eighth-grader Brittany Arne was named to the All-League team for the second straight season with a 177 average.

Deanna Martin and Jennifer Arocho had great seasons, improving each match and ending with career best averages.

Senior Michelle Rodriguez capped a great career with a solid year.

Newcomers Sabrina Roth, Kayla DeScetto, Destiny Molina and Alexis Martinek all improved during their first seasons. With 8 of 9 bowlers slated to return, the Raiders look to continue improving in League I next season.
