Hamptons International Film Festival presents SummerDocs: THE SHORT GAME hosted by Alec Baldwin. Friday Aug 30. 8:00 PM. The best 7 year old golfers from around the world descend on the world famous Pinehurst Golf course in North Carolina to determine the next world champion and who might become golf's next phenomenon. The film seems to capture the special reality it takes today to start a process to perhaps be the best in the world in the sport of Golf. The close-up look of these young gifted, driven youngsters. Since its inception in 2009, SummerDocs, a series of highly-anticipated documentary films, has become one of the Hamptons International Film Festival’s signature events. Following each screening, the director and/or subject(s) of the film participates in a lively and engaging Q&A with HIFF board member Alec Baldwin, who co-curates the series with HIFF Artistic Director David Nugent.
