Photo: Cub Scouts Honor Patchogue Veteran
East Northport Cub Scout Pack 312 honored the grave of Medal of Honor winner Lt. Michael P. Murphy ahead of Memorial Day.
It was at Calverton National Cemetery on Saturday and the East Northport Cub Scout Pack 312 honored the graves of Long Island veterans. They paused for the above photo while paying respects at the gravesite of Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a who lost his life in action in Afghanistan in 2005. Murphy was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
