Volunteers Needed: Medford Sept. 11 Memorial Garden Setup

Local organization needs help with Sept. 11 Memorial Garden on Thursday, Saturday and Monday mornings at 9 a.m.

The Medford Volunteer Gardeners would like help in preparing the 9-11 Garden at the Medford train station for the 9-11 Memorial Service this year.  

A group of volunteers will be meeting on the following dates at the train station: Sept. 6, 8, 10 at 9 a.m.

Please join us for some weeding to get the garden ready. Come one day or each day, stay as long as you want.

Please bring hand tools if you have them.

The Medford train station is located near the intersection of Medford Avenue and Long Island Avenue by turning toward the on Peconic Avenue from Medford Avenue and making a left toward the station.
