Helping to Feed Our Community 8

The Patchogue Neighbors INN is looking for groups and organizations willing to help us raise funds this coming Fall.

The Patchogue Neighbors INN is looking for groups and organizations willing to help us raise funds this coming Fall. Schools, churches, corporate offices, and retail shops will be at the center of our fundraising efforts in the coming months.

If you are a teacher, think about the possibility of having a coat drive or food drive in your school that will help individuals to stay warm and fed this winter.

If you are part of a church group or work in an office, you can sponsor a food drive or other fundraising event. Some companies even match their employees’ donations to qualified charitable groups.

The business owners of Patchogue and our surrounding communities are a great group of people who have supported many charities in the past. If you are a business owner, you may be able to donate tax-deductible goods or services that will be utilized within your own community.

The Patchogue Neighbors INN is a qualified program of The INN, a registered 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible and 100% of all monies received are used to purchase food and related items for our four soup kitchen locations.  Each soup kitchen serves hot, nutritious meals in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Guests are never asked to provide any information in order to obtain a meal.

If you or your group would be interested in sponsoring a fundraising activity you can reach me, Wayne Ramsey at wtramsey2001@yahoo.com or Louise Ramsey at laramseyslp@yahoo.com  and we would be happy to assist you with your project. Remember, a journey of 1000 miles has to begin with a single step. We hope you take the first step in the journey to alleviate hunger in Patchogue.
