Community Forum on Language Access Policy, Concert Benefit for Food Bank This Week

Community Forum: Suffolk County's New Language Access Policy

A forum on the county's new policy on translation and interpretation is taking place at Patchogue-Medford Library, 54-60 E. Main St. in Patchogue, Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The event is organized by Make the Road New York organization, Suffolk County Government Officials and the library. Event taking place in Meeting Room A.

Unlikely Candidates Benefit Concert for Island Harvest

Thursday's concert headling The Unlikely Candidates is a benefit for Island Harvest where admission is either $5 or a can of food. The show is at 89 North Music Venue, 89 North Ocean Ave. in Patchogue, starting at 7 p.m. Show is for ages 21 and up.

Board of Education Business Meeting

The Patchogue-Medford Board of Education will meet Monday at 6 p.m. to likely go into executive session, with public session resuming at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at South Ocean Middle School, 225 S. Planning Board Work Session and Hearing

Lutheran Church of Our Savior at 231 Jayne Avenue will be holding an Advent service Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Saves the Day (acoustic)

Saves the Day with Walter Schreifels and John Simmons will perform 89 North Music Venue, 89 North Ocean Avenue in Patchogue, Wednesday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $17 and for ages 16 and over.
